Cable is still Raiders Coach after talking with Davis

It seemed that nothing changed after the Oakland Raiders Coach Tom Cable talked with owner Al Davis. He remains the team’s coach, and his superiors continue the “serious evaluation” of domestic-abuse claims against the coach.

But that does not mean Cable need not worry about losing his job. The Raiders fired Coach Lane Kiffin during last year's bye week, for some conflicts with the same assistant stuff allegedly assaulted by Cable, Randy Hanson. We have reason to guess there is no security for Cable’s job.

Although Cable did not get charge for the alleged assault Hanson, he soon faced claims from women. His first wife, Sandy Cable, and former girlfriend, Marie Lutz, told ESPN that the coach physically abused them at various times during their relationships. That was something happened about 20 years ago, and why the women came out to accuse the coach of violence just a few days after his dispute with Hanson ended?

Coincidence or not, Cable just needs to get prepared for anything that could happen.
